Our Story

Founded in 2026, Bastion & Bay was created for travellers who want clear, sourced town guides to Montenegro, from the walled towns of the Bay of Kotor to the lake and mountain towns inland.

    How each guide is put together:

    • Corrections: We fix reported factual errors and update the article date.

    Bastion & Bay publishes town and region guides and attraction pages for Montenegro: old towns, fortresses, churches and monasteries, museums, the Bay of Kotor, Lake Skadar and the national parks.
